Sri Alagumalai Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in 2008 with a vision to provide quality education in a nurturing environment. Initially launched as a Primary and Nursery School, it has since grown into a full-fledged Matriculation Higher Secondary School, offering classes from LKG to Grade XII.

Nestled in a serene and natural rural setting, the school is surrounded by seven panchayat unions and serves students from 81 nearby villages. The school is managed by the Sri Alagumalai Murugan Trust, an organization committed to the educational and social upliftment of rural communities. With a focus on academic excellence and holistic development, the school operates with dedication, passion, and a deep sense of social responsibility.

Currently, the institution comprises 35 sections, accommodating over 1,050 students, and is supported by a team of 44 teaching and 45 non-teaching staff members. Over the past five years, the school has maintained a 100% pass rate in the SSLC Board Examinations, a testament to the commitment of the faculty and the academic rigor of the institution.
